About Us
At Morgan Energy, we aren’t a faceless corporate giant, we are a family-run business built on 23 years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for the trade. Danny leads the team on-site, Laura keeps everything running smoothly from the office, and Danny’s son, Archie, is currently training as our apprentice.
We believe that a business is only as good as the people it keeps. That’s why, for larger projects or specialist requirements, we work alongside a small, hand-picked group of highly skilled subcontractors. These aren’t just “hired hands” they are trusted professionals who have worked closely with Danny for years. They understand the “Morgan Standard” of neat, tidy, and reliable work, allowing us to deliver large-scale commercial and industrial projects with the same personal care we give to a domestic call-out.
Our Journey - From 2002 to the Now
Danny’s career began in 2002 at Peterborough Regional College. After proving his worth on new builds and major council contracts - specialising in everything from complex heating systems to full rewires - the 2008 recession sparked the birth of Morgan Electrical Services. A major milestone in our growth was partnering with Peterborough City Council on a large-scale solar contract, where we handled installations across various schools and council buildings.
Over the years, we’ve grown alongside the industry. We’ve worked along names like Wickes, Homebase and Magnet, lit up expansive gardens, and powered industrial factories. As the world shifted toward sustainability, so did we. By mastering solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging, we evolved into Morgan Energy - reflecting our expertise in modern, cost-saving energy solutions.
